United Games is developing new sports related game (legal betting concept) to be played on your phone. They are starting with football and soccer to be released this fall (soon). They are being designed by the same guy who use to work for EA Sports and gave us Madden Football, Tiger Woods Golf, etc. These new games will be available anywhere in the world by downloading a free app. on the Apple and Android app. stores. They will be first class in looks and playability. They will let you interact with a live game you are attending or watching on tv. Before and during time outs in the game you are watching you will have a chance to answer “questions” (aka bets, will they score in this series?— will they make the field goal?— will the next play be a run or pass?— who will have the most turnovers in this quarter?). When you answer the “questions" correctly you win points and you can turn those points in to win prizes. Hats, shirts, cars, electronics, trips, boats, etc. You save up your points until you reach the number needed to win the prize you want. You will use tokens to answer the “questions" that you can buy or get free by watch short adds. So you can download and play the game entirely free if you want.
United Games knows that this concept will go viral and, based on their research and focus groups, they expect to surpass the very successful launch of Pokemon Go now being played by over 24 million people. Unlike Pokemon and other Apps who spent $10’s of Millions of dollars to assure a successful launch. United Games has take a different approach. They have started an affiliate program to use word of mouth advertising to build awareness of the upcoming launch of the App this fall.
Affiliates will share in the revenues generated within the game by way of a very lucrative compensation plan. Once the App goes live they are going to stop accepting affiliates because the game itself will drive more and more people to play. They are going to end up with every game (basket ball, baseball, cricket, ping pong, etc) in every language. As people go to the app stores and start playing the game affiliates will earn a percentage of all the tokens acquired (free or purchased) in your group. Your group will be made up of the people you invite to be affiliates and players and people they invite, etc. before the game starts and players you and your team invite once the game goes live plus the possibility of sharing in the projected millions of players that come into the game as orphans (not invited by someone— they just downloaded the free app from the app store on their own).
The cost to be an affiliate is a one time charge of $29.99 and $9.99 a month. Very little investment and a huge upside if you help get the word out.

Game: Basically it’s an arcade style prop-betting game is the way I look at it. Users play either vs friends or the computer and spend “coins” to answer questions. The questions are related to live sporting events like “Who will win the first quarter,” “Who wins the coin toss,” etc. When a user gets a question correct they receive points/tickets similar to an arcade that can be used to purchase prices (hats, shirts, TVs, electronics, trips, cars, etc.). Users can get “coins” in two ways: First, users can watch 15-second advertisement clips and for each one will receive 1 coin ($1 worth) or users can choose to purchase coins through in-app purchases. The app is free to download and if you never buy coins and only watch ads then it can be completely free. For marketing purposes they are trying to utilize affiliates pre-launch to promote the app so that when it launches at the start of football season that it will immediately jumpy to the top of the App Store and generate organic growth.
Affiliate: As an affiliate, you can either refer more affiliates or simply refer players. This is where it gets somewhat like a MLM/Pyramid Scheme. Each player I sign up, I get 10% of the coins they earn/purchase in cash. If I sign up an affiliate, I still get 10% of what they earn/purchase but also get a piece of anyone they refer to play or become an affiliate. Once the game officially launches at the start of football season they will no longer accept new affiliates. Anyone who downloads the app even if they aren’t referred by anyone will be assigned to an affiliate randomly so we will end up with people under us that we don’t even know. And can make money off of them.
Bottom Line:In all honesty, I’m not sure if this will be a big success or not but the idea seems good. It costs $30 to become an affiliate so it’s not exactly a huge risk if it doesn’t work out but if it does then it could potentially provide some nice residual income for a while. . I don’t typically get into anything like affiliate/MLM marketing but with this opportunity there is no product that you need to sell or maintain inventory, real low startup cost, and the people that I know that are in are legitimate successful people in this space.
Other Thoughts: This game/app is currently launching in only 2 sports (Football and Soccer) and only in the English language. If it is a success which I believe it will be then naturally they would likely endeavor into other sports as well as languages. If/When that occurs there will be an influx of players that will be assigned to current affiliates (keep in mind they will not accept new affiliates after launch). This could create quite an influx of players once the app is converted into Spanish for soccer loving countries or if they launched Cricket for countries like India/Pakistan.
